How to Root Your X10 Mini Pro

Got an X10 Mini Pro? Want to unlock all its features? Play games? All that in just a click! I'm not kidding! All you have to do is a click on your computer and you can unleash the hidden features and enjoy your awesome phone more.



We are going to use this app called SuperOneClick which, in my opinion, is the easiest way to root your phone.

Quick Note: This rooting method is for Android 2.1 only. If you're a 1.6 user, please update to the latest firmware available. You can do it through Sony Ericsson Update Service

Download these first:

SuperOneClick v1.9.1
Sony Ericsson Update Service

Steps:

1. Download and install Sony Ericsson Update Service. This is required to root your phone.
2. After installation, [In your phone] Go to Settings>Applications>Development>USB debugging then press OK
3. Then your phone will prompt you to either Connect your phone, Install PC Companion or Charge your phone. Choose Charge your phone.
4. Now open SuperOneClick and press Root.

-Would you like to run a test? Yes
-A su command will now be... Yes
-Would you like to donate? That is entirely up to you.

5. Reboot phone.

...and now you have a rooted phone. Congrats! It's one step to a maximum android experience.
